Bienhechor de Orfanato Casa Hogar para Niños Esperanza

Our Mission: We are servants of God by serving others. We share a responsibility to bring God's love to hurting people. We are a Christian Mission Outreach dedicated to showing people, through our teaching, actions and love, the life changing power of Jesus Christ.

Greatness lies, not in being strong, but in the right use of strength; and strength is not used rightly when it serves only to carry a man above his fellows for his own solitary glory. He is the greatest whose strength carries up the most hearts by the attraction of his own. Henry Ward Beecher

If you are considering a commodity contribution to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, here are items that are currently needed:
1. Children’s summer clothes and shoes (any size-any gender)
2. Clothes specifically for young ladies ages 6-11
3. Games and crafts in Spanish

When wealth is lost, nothing is lost; when health is lost, something is lost; when character is lost, all is lost. Billy Graham

If you are in the Riviera Maya and have clothing or commodity contributions for our children, please contact Cherilyn Martin … all items must be sorted and sized before Wednesday delivery. Please strive to make sure all items offered are clean and serviceable.

The true worth of a man is not to be found in man himself, but in the colors and textures that come alive in others. Albert Schweitzer

One great power of sin is that it blinds men so that they do not recognize its true character. Andrew Murray

With the financial help of our members and worldwide Mission Partners, Henry and Tom we were able to purchase and provide a week’s supply of chicken, molida especial, pork, salchicha, chorizo, eggs, and cheese to our Christian home. With your financial assistance, Cancun Christian Fellowship purchases and delivers groceries to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza every Wednesday.

Imagination was given to man to compensate him for what he is not, and a sense of humor was provided to console him for what he is. Unknown

One of our generous benefactors has supplied all funds needed to completely renovate the 3rd of 4 community bathrooms at Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, our Cancun Christian home. We will start work during the 2nd week of August and will post updates so you can follow our progress.

A man should be like tea; his real strength appearing when he gets in hot water. Unknown

Sunday was Jerimy’s last day in Cancun. All will agree that his contagious smile has been a bright spot in our Sunday service. It never gets any easier saying goodbye to friends and family. Jerimy, we wish you well and hope that your new life in Texas will be all that you want it to be. Please never forget your Cancun family and remember you are always welcome in our Sunday home.

If you take care of your character, your reputation will take care of you. D.L. Moody

Last Sunday’s Pizza Luncheon was a great success and we truly appreciate all that attended. It is great when our Cancun Christian family can gather around a table, enjoy a good meal and share fellowship other family members…one of the many things that helps make our church such a wonderful place to worship.

What you see and hear depends a good deal on where you are standing; it also depends on what kind of a person you are. C.S. Lewis

This week’s lesson will be delivered by Laura Shook (The Value of Today) and it is fantastic. We invite you to join us at 10:00 AM. We know you will enjoy the lesson.

He is rich or poor according to what he is, not according to what he has. Henry Ward Beecher

Laurie Lipp will return this Sunday to head up our Children’s Bible Study class. Please welcome Laurie back when you see her in church. To all the ladies that filled in for Laurie in her absence, WE THANK YOU! This is a great example of family pulling together to help family.

If we are honest with ourselves, we will be honest with each other. George Macdonald

This week’s pre-church entertainment will again feature Flip Pallot, host of Walker’s Cay Chronicles, heading back to the Florida Everglades for nonstop fly fishing action. Flip’s videos offer enough excitement for even the seasoned angler. Please join us at 9:30 AM, sit back, relax and enjoy the show.

The cynic is one who never sees a good quality in a man, and never fails to see a bad one. Henry Ward Beecher

We had seven guests in church last Sunday and several of them joined us for food and fellowship after church. As always, it is wonderful having travelers take time out of their vacation schedule to attend our church and worship with our family.

Nothing is as strong as gentleness, nothing as gentle as real strength. Francis de Sales

The purpose of tithing, found in Deuteronomy 14:22-23 (NLT), is made clear: to “teach you always to love the Lord your God.” By practicing good tithing habits, scripture tells us we are showing God our desire to put him first place in our lives.

As the excellence of steel is strength, and the excellence of art is beauty, so the excellence of mankind is moral character. A.W. Tozer

Laurie Lipp offers a Children’s Bible Study Class each Sunday for children ten and under. The class is held in the showroom at the front of Plaza Tokal (our fabulous new church facility). For additional details, please contact Laurie before or after the service. She will be excited to talk to you.

If lips and life do not agree, the testimony will not amount to much. Harry Ironside
