If you are considering a commodity contribution to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, here are items that are currently needed:
1. Children’s summer clothes and shoes (any size-any gender)
2. Clothes specifically for young ladies ages 6-11
3. Games and crafts in Spanish

With the financial help of our members and worldwide Mission Partners, Henry and Tom we were able to purchase and provide a week’s supply of chicken, molida especial, pork, salchicha, chorizo, crema, and cheese to our Christian home. With your financial assistance, Cancun Christian Fellowship purchases and delivers groceries to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza every Wednesday.

We have a Baptism planned for August 26th in Puerto Morelos. If you have never been Baptized and are ready to offer your life to the service of our heavenly Father, we would love for you to join us. One of our generous benefactors has supplied all funds needed to completely renovate the 3rd of 4 community bathrooms at Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, our Cancun Christian home. We will start work during the 2nd week of August and will post updates so you can follow our progress.

Sunday was Jerimy’s last day in Cancun. All will agree that his contagious smile has been a bright spot in our Sunday service. It never gets any easier saying goodbye to friends and family. Last Sunday’s Pizza Luncheon was a great success and we truly appreciate all that attended. It is great when our Cancun Christian family can gather around a table, enjoy a good meal and share fellowship other family members…one of the many things that helps make our church such a wonderful place to worship.

July was not a banner month for our church. Expenses exceeded income and we ended the month in the red. There were no extraordinary expenses that caused the balance sheet to go astray…simply not enough money. As the old saying goes ¨we ran out of money before we ran out of month¨.

We are again excited about Sunday service guests. It is great to have locals as well as vacationing travelers visit our service and worship with our family. Last Sunday we had four visitors, two from Cancun and two from the US. It is also nice when guests turn in to members.
