Our Mission: We are servants of God by serving others. We share a responsibility to bring God's love to hurting people. We are a Christian outreach fellowship of believers dedicated to showing the people of the Yucatan Peninsula, through our teaching, actions and love, the life changing power of Jesus Christ.

If you are considering a commodity contribution to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, here are items that are currently needed:
1. Children’s clothes and shoes (any size-any gender)
2. Clothes for young ladies ages 6-11
3. Games and crafts in Spanish

“Patience is waiting. Not passively waiting. That is laziness. But to keep going when the going is hard and slow - that is patience.”

If you are in the Riviera Maya and have a clothing contribution for our children, please contact Cherilyn for sorting, sizing and Wednesday delivery. Please strive to make sure all items offered are clean and serviceable.

“Patience is the companion of wisdom.”

We have been blessed with gifts to benefit our children at Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza. We are always grateful for the assistance we receive from our worldwide mission partners. Recent gifts include:
Mission Partners Mark and Deidre, Texas: Casa Hogar Renovation Fund
CoFC Member: Casa Hogar Food Fund
CoFC Member: Clothing Donation

“Patience and fortitude conquer all things”

Prince and Kathy left on Tuesday but are scheduled to return in May. We can’t wait until they safely return to our Cancun family.

“The keys to patience are acceptance and faith. Accept things as they are, and look realistically at the world around you.  Have faith in yourself and in the direction you have chosen.”

With the financial help of our worldwide Mission Partners, volunteers from Cancun Christian Fellowship were able to provide eggs, cheese (yellow and white), molida especial, pork, salchicha dokkers, sliced ham and turkey, chicken and milk, to our Cancun Christian home.  Groceries are purchased and delivered every week.  If you would like to make a contribution to our Casa Hogar Children’s Food Fund, please contact Cherilyn or Tom.

“Patience is the ability to idle your motor when you feel like stripping your gears.”

Mark Shook is back! This Sunday, 2/26/2012, Community of Faith Cancun will be offering a new Mark Shook lesson on trusting the Bible. It will be the first Mark Shook lesson in over two months and the timing coincides with our move to our magnificent new location on Yaxchilan. We hope you will join us this Sunday.

“The secret of patience is doing something else in the meantime”

We have added new pictures, testimony and gallery pages to our website. The website has also received a facelift on pages one and two. New information concerning our activities has been included. If it has been a while since you have visited our website, why not take a few minutes and browse the pages.

“The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.”

Special thanks go out to Wendy Sombito with Second Baptist Church in Houston. Wendy is our Guardian Angel in Houston that supplies our church with Dr. Ed Young lesson downloads whenever we need them.

Upcoming Events:  Cancun Christian Fellowship English Service will move to a new location effective 2/26/2012.
