If you are considering a commodity contribution to Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, here are items that are currently needed:
1. Children’s summer clothes and shoes (any size-any gender)
2. Clothes specifically for young ladies ages 6-11
3. Games and crafts in Spanish

If you are in the Riviera Maya and have clothing or commodity contributions for our children, please contact Cherilyn Martin … all items must be sorted and sized before Wednesday delivery. Please strive to make sure all items offered are clean and serviceable.

We have been blessed with gifts to benefit our children at Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza. We are always grateful for the assistance we receive from our worldwide mission partners. Recent gifts include:

With the financial help of our worldwide Mission Partners we were able to provide chicken, molida especial, pork, salchicha, eggs, and cheese to our Colonia Alfredo Bonfil Christian home. With your financial assistance, Cancun Christian Fellowship purchases and delivers groceries to our Christian home every Wednesday.

July was not a banner month for our church. Expenses exceeded income and we ended the month in the red. There were no extraordinary expenses that caused the balance sheet to go astray…simply not enough money. As the old saying goes ¨we ran out of money before we ran out of month¨.

This Sunday is our summer Pizza Luncheon? We hope to see you at California Kitchen Pizza, 12:30 PM on the 5th. The luncheon is open to all church members and mission partners.

This week´s lesson will be delivered by Mark Shook. It is from Mark´s series on Time from God´s Perspective and concerns Cumulative Value of time. We know you will enjoy the lesson.

Katherine and Cherilyn will be in charge of the Children’s Bible Study this week. Thanks are extended to Juliette, Diana and Nancy for their help over the past month. Ladies, the help is greatly appreciated.

This week’s pre-church entertainment will depart from our normal fishing video and we will feature a selection of songs from ZZ Top, Texas’ premier band. If you are old enough to remember their great 70’s and 80’s R&R sound, why not join us at 9:30.

We are again excited about Sunday service guests. It is great to have locals as well as vacationing travelers visit our service and worship with our family. Last Sunday we had four visitors, two from Cancun and two from the US. It is also nice when guests turn in to members.

Laurie Lipp offers a Children’s Bible Study Class each Sunday for children ten and under. The class is held in the showroom at the front of Plaza Tokal (our fabulous new church facility). For additional details, please contact Laurie before or after the service. She will be excited to talk to you.

A Wednesday Morning and a Thursday Evening Christian Women’s Study Group is also offered by Cancun Christian Fellowship. The Wednesday Group meets at the Malecon Americas Starbucks at 10:00 AM and the Thursday Evening Business Ladies Group meets at the Malecon Americas California Kitchen Pizza at 6:30 PM.
