Forbidden fruits create many jams.

3. Diapers Size Jumbo
4. Baby clothes for a very young lady
This past week, we have been previewing new music and sermons for our Easter service, the most important service of each year. We can assure you the service we selected is a lesson that you will not want to miss and contains a message that will last you a lifetime. We absolutely know you will enjoy it and look forward to seeing you in church Easter Sunday.
God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.
This week Brant and Renee Ackerman, along with their beautiful children, attended our Sunday Service and visited Casa Hogar para Ninos Esperanza, our Cancun Christian orphanage. While at the home, they played with the children and gave them many items brought from the US including diapers. They also graced us with a financial donation from their church along with a personal family donation. They requested their donation be placed in our food fund. We truly enjoyed their companionship and agreed that we wished they lived in Cancun and belonged to our Christian family. We hope to see them again soon and are happy they have joined our extended family of Mission Partners.
Speaking of the food fund, volunteers from Cancun Christian Fellowship purchased and delivered eggs, maple syrup, pork, milk, chorizo and beef to the home this week. We also spent time attending to and playing with the children.
The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.
We had the opportunity to meet and bond with Andrea Riemersma. Andie and a friend have been staying at the home and spending quality time with the children. I know all of you remember Renee Loubert from our initial contacts with Pastor and Esther Mancilla. As it turns out, Andie and Renee were roommates in the US and Renee took Andie’s place at the home when she returned to the US last year. Andie’s friend Ben attended today’s men’s group and helped us with the grocery shopping for the home.
And, speaking of the men’s group, today’s meeting was not the same without Gary Mason in attendance. Gary and Marti are again headed north to their “real world” for approximately eight months and they will be missed.
We are currently working on a long range, continuous plan for Mission Partners to come to Cancun and assist us with renovations to Casa Hogar. There is enough work scheduled to keep us busy for the next year. Pastor Mancilla is working on a plan of action and our first group is expected to arrive Good Friday weekend. We will give you more information as we have it.
God can use you to your full potential. Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.
We had 21 people in church last. Damon Shook offered a great lesson that we all benefited from.
Victoria Alvarez and TJ Carter were Baptized Sunday afternoon in the beautiful cool blue waters of the Caribbean behind Casa Kelly. Many of you showed up for the event and we all thank you for your participation. Cherilyn put a slide show together and we will show it to you in church this Sunday. Sorry, no popcorn or cokes will be available.
We are again extending an invitation to join our Mission Group welcoming committee at Casa Hogar. Don’t look at it as a chore. It is actually a lot of fun and you don’t know what you are missing. Cherilyn and I receive a tremendous amount of joy from the events and we know you will too. You will meet many very nice people and begin forming lasting relationships while serving God by serving others. It is a WIN WIN invitation.
The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.
