This is the best story of the week. After attending the men’s group and visiting the orphanage and witnessing, first hand, our mission activity, Roy Elliott has doubled his financial donation to our work. I really do not know what to say except Roy, thank you so very, very much.

A quick note on Bodega Aurrera. The milk we purchased last week was Lala brand and we paid MXN 90 a case. We also purchased Tuna that was the same brand previously purchased Wal-Mart but the Bodega Aurrera price was MXN .30 a can less than Wal-Mart. It pays to shop and compare prices.

We continue to send out mission requests seeking assistance. Over the past few weeks, over 200 requests have been emailed to churches around the world.

Last week we were told that there is a good probability Mark Shook will be attending the English service in the very near future. We will advise you when we have more information.

Speaking of TJ, you might want to look at a local website, www.cancuncare.com . TJ makes regular posts to their forum giving updated information on our mission work and telling others how they can assist. It is a great idea and I know most of you have forums that you visit and post to on a regular basis.

“Cartoon Night” For a first time event, it went great. Cherilyn and I, Katherine and Trish showed up to put everything together. Trish brought pretzels and fruit drinks and Laurie Lipp and her three sons popped the pop corn and furnished the popcorn cups and projection screen and Cancun Christian Fellowship furnished the cartoons, projector and computer. Karen, Miguel’s wife was also there helping the children with their homework and then she helped us. We had a great time and the children had a night they will remember for a long time. A special thanks to everyone that made the first of many cartoon nights a success. Pictures will be on the website this week.

Lisa offered helping hands at the orphanage Tuesday. I think her schedule has her helping there most every Tuesday and Thursday. Congratulations Lisa, it is nice to see you finding your niche.

TJ purchased and delivered a case of eggs, hot dogs and luncheon meat. Cancun Christian Fellowship provided seven kilos of ground sirloin and ten kilos sugar this week. According to Karen, those are items that are always needed. Thanks for the tip Karen.

Trish provided much needed diapers along with donations of clothing, books and other items. Thanks Trish.

If you have a non-food donation (clothing, toys, books etc) please bring them to church and give them to Cherilyn for sorting and distribution. It will allow us to make better use of donated items. Of course, food items should always be delivered on Wednesday. If you take a food donation to the orphanage, please send us an email telling us what you donated. It will keep us from duplicating your donation and put funds in to other needed food donations.

Esta es la mejor historia de la semana. Después de asistir al grupo de los hombres y visitar el orfanato y el testimonio, de primera mano, nuestra actividad de la misión, Roy Elliott ha duplicado su donación económica a nuestro trabajo. Realmente no sé qué decir, excepto Roy, muchas gracias muy, muy mucho.

Una nota rápida sobre Bodega Aurrera. La leche que compramos la semana pasada fue la marca Lala y tuvimos que pagar 90 MXN un caso. También compramos atún que era la misma marca que anteriormente se compraban Wal-Mart, pero el precio de Bodega Aurrera fue MXN 0.30 puede menos de un Wal-Mart. Vale la pena buscar y comparar precios.

Seguimos enviar peticiones misión de solicitar asistencia. Durante los últimas semanas, más de 200 solicitudes han sido enviadas por correo electrónico a las iglesias de todo el mundo.

La semana pasada se nos dijo que hay una buena probabilidad de Marcos estremecieron estará presente en el servicio de Inglés en un futuro muy próximo. Le avisaremos cuando tengamos más información.

Hablando de TJ, es posible que quiera ver una página web local, www.cancuncare.com. TJ hace puestos de plantilla a su foro con información actualizada sobre nuestro trabajo de misión y decirle a otros cómo pueden ayudarle. Es una gran idea y sé que la mayoría de ustedes tienen foros en los que va a visitar y escribir en una base regular.

"Cartoon Noche" Para un evento por primera vez, fue genial. Cherilyn y yo, Katherine y Trish se presentó a poner todo junto. Trish trajo galletas saladas y bebidas de frutas y Lipp Laurie y sus tres hijos se metió el pop corn y amueblado de las tazas de palomitas y pantalla de proyección y Cancún Christian Fellowship amuebladas las caricaturas, proyector y el ordenador. Karen, la esposa de Miguel también estaba allí ayudando a los niños con sus tareas y después se nos han ayudado. Nos lo pasamos muy bien y los niños tenían una noche que recordarán por mucho tiempo. Un agradecimiento especial a todos los que hicieron la primera de muchas noches de dibujos animados un éxito. Los dibujos van a estar en el sitio web de esta semana.

Lisa ofreció ayudar a las manos en el orfanato el martes. Creo que su horario le ha ayudando a que la mayoría de todos los martes y jueves. Felicitaciones Lisa, es agradable ver a encontrar su nicho.

TJ comprado y entregado un caso de huevo, salchichas y fiambres. Cancún Christian Fellowship proporcionan siete kilos de lomo de tierra y diez kilos de azúcar en esta semana. Según Karen, esos son elementos que siempre son necesarios. Gracias por la punta de Karen.

Trish proporcionan pañales muy necesaria así como donaciones de ropa, libros y otros artículos. Gracias Trish.

Si usted tiene una donación no alimentarios (vestimenta, juguetes, libros, etc) por favor traiga a la iglesia y los dará a Cherilyn para la clasificación y distribución. Nos permitirá hacer un mejor uso de los objetos donados. Por supuesto, los alimentos debe estar siempre el miércoles. Si usted toma una donación de alimentos al orfanato, por favor envíenos un correo electrónico que nos dice lo que gané. Se nos impide la duplicación de su donación y aporte de fondos a otras donaciones de alimentos necesarios.

Si usted tiene un proyecto misionero que está trabajando o tiene un anuncio, por favor envíenos un correo electrónico para que podamos obtener la información en el boletín.
